About PerchSpective

‘Quarkybirdy’, a name that wound it’s way from watching Star Trek through to my first parrot.  It says a lot about me – I’m quarky, quirky, not a crowd follower, and unique!  I’m a student of the world, ever learning, never assuming.  I’m old enough to know better, but young enough to believe that nothing worth doing should come easily.

I’m a rural resident who loves the cold!  I love the Canadian countryside, love the birds who visit the feeders and the animals who cross my path in the backyard, roads and area woods.  I grew up in Toronto, but I’ve have called central Ontario home for 40 years and counting!

Follow me and I’ll show you the world and the important stuff from a different, often skewed, sometimes funky, always relevant PerchSpective! IMG_20160428_104523

  1. Hey Linda:

I love the blog. Can you share your thoughts on the best books or videos that can help people understand how to reach goals? I believe there are many people who think about goals but get stuck or choose not to take what they perceive as a huge risk. What do you think? Would you share the twists, turns, and milestones of your journey to freedom as you move forward?
